Hunger Data Lab
Without accurate, accessible data, we can’t make informed decisions. The Hunger Data Lab houses useful datasets to researchers, advocates, policy makers, and practitioners. It provides clean, ready-to-use data sets and informative reports to help drive solutions to food insecurity.
The Hunger Data Lab makes accessing and downloading data easy. Check out the ready-to-use data and get started making the data work for you. You may also access already prepared reports with useful information and statistics about child hunger, school breakfast, or tools needed to reduce hunger in your area. We invite you to contribute if you have useful data or reports that could benefit our collective work to find solutions to food insecurity and poverty. We know that it will take a united effort. If your organization needs support, we want to help. Get connected and learn how finding solutions to food insecurity in your area can come through collaboration and local support.
The Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty exists to cultivate scalable solutions to end hunger. Many of those solutions come in the form of public policy. Legislation passed in the 2023 Texas Legislative Session mark significant wins for those most at risk of food insecurity in the state.
The Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty has received a gift from the Whitsons Culinary group to assist with hunger outreach programs.
The Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty has been awarded a grant to operate the innovative Meals-to-You program for a fifth summer.
