Kay Bell is a farmer, theater stage play producer, teaologist, herbalist, and founder of Global Revive. Global Revive’s mission is to revive people back to growing gardens, eating healthy, and creating fine art. Kay is also the Texas president of the National Women in Agriculture Association. NWIAA’s mission is to bring healthy food to neighborhoods that are underserved, while empowering women to become entrepreneurs in agriculture. In 2018, Kay was named Farmer of the Year by the Minority Landowners Magazine. Kay is a graduate of Paul Quinn College in Dallas with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in English. She taught in public schools for over twenty-seven years.
Kay is currently retired from teaching and spends her time writing plays, blending herbal teas, and growing herbs and vegetables in her garden.
