Linda K. English, Ph.D.

Dr. Linda K. English is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Since joining the faculty at Baylor in 2009, she has taught Principles of Microeconomics and Introduction to the Economics of Poverty and Discrimination. In addition to teaching, she currently serves as an Associate Director of the Baylor Business Fellows program. Her primary research interests are concentrated in the economics of education, economics of poverty and food insecurity, economic history, and economics education. She is passionate about promoting summer reading at low-income elementary schools in her community. Dr. English holds a doctorate in economics from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree (also in economics) from Oklahoma State University.
