Sandi Pruitt, Ph.D., MPH is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population and Data Sciences at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She conducts population-based research related to health disparities and equity, neighborhoods and health, social determinants of health including food insecurity, the transformative power of food assistance, and cancer epidemiology. The goal of her research program is to generate evidence that can be used to inform policies and programs in order to improve wellbeing, especially for under-served and disadvantaged populations and places.
