MegaCon 2024

The Texas Department of Agriculture proudly presents MEGACON 2024. One event where professionals working within federal food nutrition programs come together to learn, collaborate and inspire.

At MEGACON, you will see educational, networking, and policy sessions that pertain to the following federal nutrition programs:

• National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP)
• USDA Foods – Includes the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
• Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
• Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

This year you have the opportunity to hear from John Puder, Director of Hunger Outreach Programs Empowerment (H.O.P.E.) with the Baylor Collaborative, and how his team has utilized SFSP & SSO Marketing and Outreach to help raise awareness of no-cost healthy summer meals for Texas youth.
