Betty Teston

  • Program Manager, Hunger Outreach Programs Empowerment

Betty Teston is a Program Manager for the Hunger Outreach Program Empowerment team at the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty. Since 2013, she has brought expertise in leveraging child nutrition programs to strengthen communities across Texas and provides essential support in launching and sustaining Hunger Free Community Coalitions. A former district Nutrition and Wellness Coordinator for San Angelo ISD, Betty has more than 30 years of experience in food service management across hospitals, business and industry, and the Head Start program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas Tech University and is a Licensed Dietitian and member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
