Daniel Millimet is the Robert H. and Nancy Dedman Trustee Professor of Economics at Southern Methodist University. He is also a research fellow at IZA and a member of the HCEO Global Working Group. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University in 1999 and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1994. His research centers on policy relevant topics and microeconometric methods, covering topics such as the effects of the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program, determinants of and persistence in food insecurity, determinants of inequality in age-adjusted mortality rates across U.S. counties, and measuring income mobility using self-reported income that is known to be misreported. He currently serves on two editorial boards.
