Dr. Elsa Murano is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Strategic Initiatives at Texas A&M University, where she previously served as President. She was a member of the George W. Bush administration, where she served as Undersecretary for Food Safety at the United States Department of Agriculture, the highest-ranking food safety official in the U.S. government.
