Katie Nye
Director, Hunger Free Community Accelerator
Katie Nye is the Director of the Hunger Free Community Accelerator for the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty. Katie works at the local level to convene stakeholders in creating an efficient system of accountability that increases food security in Central Texas. She received her B.S. in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and has a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to working at BCHP, Katie was a social worker at a high school, and the Director of Operations for a statewide education nonprofit.
