Licensed Social Workers in Texas can now receive 10 CEUs (8 general and 2 ethics) for completion of this Certificate Course. CEU information can be found within the course following registration.

Training and Equipping Community Leaders

The Hunger Free Communities Certificate Course guides participants through the five phases of creating and sustaining a successful Hunger Free Community Coalition: Establishing a Shared Vision, Understanding Your Community and Resources, Convening a Coalition, Creating a Multisectoral Strategic Plan, and Implementing the Plan.

Upon finishing the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Baylor University, along with a digital badge that can be displayed on LinkedIn and digital resumes. While course modules are online and self-paced, coalition members who take the course as a unit can enrich learning and drive change together.

Hunger Free Communities Leadership Program

The Baylor Collaborative’s Hunger Free Communities Leadership Program is a six-element training program for groups seeking to build a Hunger Free Community Coalition. During the program, Baylor Collaborative experts work closely with participants one-on-one to guide them through forming a Community Leadership Council, completing the online Hunger Free Communities Certificate Course, attending the Together at the Table Summit at Baylor University, participating in the Food Security Policy Workshop in Washington, D.C., organizing a Hunger Free Community Coalition launch event, and developing a coalition through ongoing, personalized coaching support.
