Bianca Esquivel

Bianca Esquivel has served in bereavement and end-of-life care for 15 years. This includes hospital chaplaincy, church support, group and pilgrimage facilitation, restorative justice and direct service work for people who are incarcerated. She currently is a Family Services Manager at New England Donor Services. Bianca obtained a BA in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Disability Studies from CUNY – School of Professional Studies and a MS in Thanatology from Marian University. A certified thanatologist, yoga teacher, and spiritual director, Bianca is passionate about connecting with others and offers presence and accompaniment through holistic and authentic avenues that resonate with each person and their journey.
Bianca lives, works, and plays in Austin, Texas with her husband and beloved communities. She has many hobbies, including reading, cinema, connecting with nature in various ways, studying languages, gardening, volunteering, moving her body as a form of medicine, crafting, writing, and eating her way through Austin’s vegan restaurants.
