Jennifer Guerra, Ed.D. is a graduate alumnus of Baylor University. Her dissertation, Re-Inventing Student Services for Food-Insecure Students in an Online Environment, is focused on the effectiveness of institutional interventions in mitigating the negative effects of food insecurity among college students. Jennifer was a leader in opening the South Texas College food pantry and serves on the committee to ensure the program is not only sustained but expands to meet the needs of the students. She leads efforts in conjunction with the student affairs division to integrate multiple resources and connect them through the campus' food pantry to support students experiencing food insecurity and poverty.
