Marcus Franklin
Marketing Specialist

Marcus Franklin is a Marketing Specialist at the Baylor Collaborative. In his current role, Marcus is working to establish the Baylor Collaborative as a leading research entity of food insecurity, specifically within the landscape of Baylor University. Additionally, he is responsible for planning and supporting the Baylor Collaborative’s storytelling capabilities aimed at bringing people together who have a desire to challenge the systems that result in wide-spread food insecurity. He is a Baylor alumnus with a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Sports Marketing, and a MSEd in Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA). No stranger to the field of food insecurity, Marcus served as a graduate advisor for a student organization focused on reducing the impact of food insecurity within the Waco and Baylor communities. Marcus’ passion for greater food security and his desire to bring people together work hand in hand with the mission of the Baylor Collaborative – to create scalable solutions to end hunger. Marcus is looking forward to the social impact that accompanies a community with heightened awareness of the extremely stigmatizing, yet common experience of food insecurity. |
